For the second year running PAS Krakow organized an evening of American and Polish poetry in the southeastern city of Rzeszow on June 22. The event featured Pulitzer Prize winning poet Philip Levine and his internationally award winning Polish counterpart Adam Zagajewski reading before an overflow standing-room audience of over 100 at the Rzeszów Main Museum. The evening of poetry and jazz music was moderated by local poet Krystyna Lenkowska. Mr. Levine's travel was funded under the IIP U.S. Speakers Program and was linked to his participation in the bi-annual U.S.-Polish poetry seminar also supported by U.S. Consulate Krakow.
